Pours clear, 'old gold'. Scent is bit ice-cider like, very pure and intense apples. Taste is fairly full, nice apple acidity. This drinks like an ice cider ( of lesser quality) rather than a mead. Honey is lost. I like it, though, i'm just used to better ice-cider, or more honey-forward meads.

Bottle pours at �punka, pours a clear light golden, no head. Nose brings out rich treacle toffee, brown sugar and lots of sweet honey. Flavour is on the boozier side, with treacle toffee, wildflower honey, and light brown sugar. Boozy and sweet, but well-calibrated. Very nice.
