Pouring a rich dark brown colour, Humpty Dumpty Black Treacle Porter offers up rich aromas of caramel, treacle and roasted malts. Sweet notes from the malt are complemented by bitter chocolate and cocoa from the roasted malt.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a dark brown with orange edges, head was off white. Aroma roasted malts with some vanilla. Taste is Roasted malts, light vanilla, very robust.

23/1/2021. Bottle shared at the first Ipswich Lockdown 3.0 virtual bottle share. From Beers of Europe. Pours black with a frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, ash, treacle, coffee. Moderate sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Light bodied, a little watery but quite smooth, soft carbonation. Nice, does well with it's low abv.
