200ml draught, TTO at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Tasting session with pictoman. Covering beige head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass, black body with a ruby shade. Attractive smell of roasted nuts and earthy chocolate. Well blended taste of brittle caramel, earth, nuts, and biscuit. Nicely roasted ending, mid-dry. Medium bodied. Well made. (Tromsø, 27.04.2023).

Dark beer, big foamy tan head. Smells malty, with some zest and pine. Flavour has toasty malt, citrus zest, pine again, a little sweet fruit, mounds of hops. Very punchy.

Tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is big roasty, nutty hazelnut, caramel. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a crisp, dry nutty, earthy, mineral, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
