Pint from the tap at the brewery tap. Pours brown with a perfect cramy head. Aromas & tastes of berries, nuts, pine, biscuit, caramel & roasted malt. Medium body. Dry light bitter finish. Excellent

Tap at Stadbrouwhuis, Leiden: Very dark brown coloured brew with an pretty dry bitter taste with hints of citrus, caramel, roasted malts, berries and nuts.

The “americanness” is unfortunate for me. Ruins a nice biscuity base with some hops that I’d prefer not there. But i have a feeling this Gollem raamsteeg version that is pouring foamy as hell is not the intended beer, try again.

Draft. An almost black beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of nuts, roasted malt, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, nuts, citrus fruits, and nuts, leading to a bitter finish.

Aroma: dried fruits, roasted nuts and liquorice. Taste: brown sugar, roasted bread, nuts and liquorice. Dry and malty finish. Next one please!

On tap at V�ske Balancen, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt, gentle cocoa, and toasted nuts. Flavour is malty and dry, with bready malt, toasted nuts and a hint of caramel. Dry, malty and big. Good stuff.
