An old favourite, reimagined. Our Choqlette makes a return as an oatmeal stout, with a light roastiness, smooth body balanced by a kiss of chocolate.

Black, light brown head. Nice light roast nose, brown sugar notes. Palate more burnt than roasted, fatty/smoky notes

On tap at brewery. Pours black with small head. Aroma has a lot of roasted malt and toasted coffee. Flavour also leans very heavily into the roasted malts and toasted coffee beans. Pretty simple, earthy flavour profile overall, but enjoyable enough.

Dark rubyish brown body and modest foam. Very macro malty smell, brown sugar and molasses, like that Molson's macro you bought at the dépanneur in 2010. Taste is a smooth biscuit, more molasses, ending wet. Very simple, a kind of crowd pleaser, nothing more - like those abandoned towers in East Saint Louis, there's nothing inside of this.
