473 ml can. Pours a clear amber with moderate head. Aromas and flavours of fir and spruce - basically forest floor with a dose of industrial cleaner… A overload on the flavour. A bad novelty.

Can from Storm, labelled as Xmas tree pilsner, but who's counting. Clear gold body and some pretty good foam. Certainly that fir needle aroma on the nose, along with some citrusy pilsner hops and it comes across pretty well. Taste is heavy pine needle, soft pilsner malt, ending mostly dry. The fir needle isn't bad here but does overpower the pilsner - not bad but I wouldn't buy a second can.

On tap at Storm, pours a pale golden with a small white head. Nose brings out licoricey notes and weird sweetness. Flavour is bizarre, with notes of root beer, licorice and candied sweetness. Pleasant enough, but totally not my thing.

The fir adds a mild edge to the aroma, the flavor is less impacted, although it gets a bit resiny. The final is dry and a bit papery.
