Another day, another Voodoo Ranger IPA. Gonna admit this one falls on the more positive side of the series, even if it's still not a very memorable pint. Pineapple, grapefruit zest, peach, and a little grainy sweetness lead to a gentle pine bitterness on the back end and a rather nondescript fade. Not bad, but nothing to write home about.

Not bad but a tad over-hopped, a bit strong. Bit citrus, but also resin and pineapple or other general tropical fruit. It overwhelms in a similar way to some of the juicy IPAs, most of which I hate. At least this one had an acceptable level of bitterness and some malt profile. Tghis one was just Ok for me, as its not a beer I have a huge desire to go back to again and again.

Gosh, how many of these voodoo rangers are there? I wouldn't complain, but don't they pretty much all taste the same? Big rubbery mouth coating soapy bitterness over the top and down the sides. The nose on this one is a little rubber off hops. Color is slightly hazy & pale. Slight warming sensation as it cruises down my gullet. Terribly on style beer drinken experience, one big nasty nellie imperial IPA. There you have it. When I see new variations of these stupid ass voodoo rangers sitting on the shelf, trying to bait me in for tick, I need to work up the gumption to pass these by.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clearish straw gold with a full 2 fingers of soapy white head. Notes of white muscat, citrus pith and durian. Similar on the palate, but mouthfeel is a little watery. Leans dry on the finish with starfruit, vinous muscat and white grapefruit.

16 oz sample can not intended for sale or resale. Aroma has notes of bread, citrus peel, berries, candy. Pours hazy sunshine golden with a one finger cream white head with excellent retention. Taste has a faint bitterness with lots of candy sweetness. One of the sweetest, if not the sweetest no adjunct IPAs I’ve ever had.
