Bottle, 7.5%. Faint dusty aroma, caramel and dark sugar. Almost clear chestnut colour. Big stable light brown head. The flavour is sweet at first, then spicy and finally citric. It is hard to pinpoint the spices, but a sort of herbal and not sweet cookie spice. I like the beginning more than the finish.

Bottle. Pours nearly clear dark amber with stable, creamy beige head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and yeast, with notes of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with funky and estery notes and touches of caramel malt, yeast and cinnamon. Acidic aftertaste with malty and estery touches and spicy hints. Reasonable, but perhaps a little too sour for my idea of Saison.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear mahogany colour, small head. Aroma of aniseed, caramel, pears and marzipan. Dry with medium body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Aniseed and husky dark bread, some ripe fruits. Long balanced bitter finish. A quirky, complex and likeable beer.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, reddish amber with a beige head. Subtle Belgian yeast in the nose, light phenols and fruit. Medium body, excessively phenollic and chemical, harsh, unpleasant and lightly tart. Close to undrinkable. 211221

Bottle from Natholdets Julekalender #19 clear amber, small light brown head. caramelly and fruity, apples, almost perfume aroma. flavor is fruity and caramelly, dark cherries, fruits are apples, plums, the small yellow sourish plums, nearly no bitterness. a fruity caramelly beer. Normally I'm not that fond of fruit beers that are not sour, but this one is composed exceptionally well.
