Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (08/07/2022) - brown pour with a thin off white ringed head. Sweet and toasted malty with layers of dried fruit and spices, sweetness further enhanced with some nice fudge and caramel seeping in, medium bodied, spiced warming sweet malty lingering finish. Lovely no nonsense barley wine goodness, excellent from Ebeltoft.

Dark, red chestnut with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of sweet cherry, dried apricot, orange peel, ripe plums and port wine with malty notes of toffee and dark bread. Quite sweet flavour with dark fruits, fruit syrup, molasses, caramel and toffee. A little bit on the sweet side, but very tasty and with a bitter finish to attempt a bit of balance. Hopefully it has good cellaring potential.
