Bottle from Geers. Hazy yellow, thin, foamy, white head. Aroma of sorrel, hay, rhubarb, moist white pepper, marijuana, oak, unbaked bread. Taste has sour gooseberry, green apple & plum, some funky sorrel amongst lemon & lactic acid (yoghurt) notes; kept together by a bread-crusty malt body. Bitter grassy hops in the finish, offering lemon rind, hay and a touch of grapefruit. Medium body, moussy texture, average carbonation. Interesting nose, not super complex but highly drinkable.

Tap at BXL. Erősen savanyú és funky saison, pontosan, ahogy azt szeretem. Azt csak kóstolás után tudtam meg, hogy Canti blend/collab, úgyhogy még csak elfogultságról sem beszélhetünk.

Interesting mix. Got the cantillon part, the saison is a bit more subtle. It’s fun but maybe once is enough.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Clear yellow-golden color, average sized white head. Aroma and flavor are lightly malts, saison-ish slight tart-bitter, light barnyard, light hints of lemon, distant metallic hints. Very pleasant beer indeed, very well brewed. Superbly balanced.

Golden pour with a small white head; aroma is yeast, malt, gooseberries, some grapefruit and vinegar. Taste is grapes, citrus, malt, some pepper as well. Decent bitter finish. Great collaboration by two great breweries.

Bottle(s) from House of Trembling Madness dot com. It pours pretty clear lemon yellow with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is damp oak, dirty funk, barnyard, brett, sweaty, damp hay, lemon - lime, gooseberry, fermenting fruits, white wine, sherbet, tangfastics, some spice and straw. The taste is crispy, firmly dry, snappy, minerality, crunchy, peppery spice, straw, damp hay, lemony sherbet, some gooseberry, sherbet, old dirty lemon, spritzy, funk is more mellow than on the snout, brett, snap of peppery spice and dry oak with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate+ foamy carbonation. Love this. Great combo. Moreish.

330ml bottle @ Admiral Benbow, Shrewsbury. Misty golden yellow, large white head. Lovely fresh profile, bright sweet Brett character, dry bitter finish with a vibrant Lambic presence. Really good.

Pours hazed blonde. Not much head, and the little there is isn't persistent. Scent is bit citrussy, malty, not overly intense. Taste is sharp, slightly tart, recognizably cantillon funkyness, bitter and a touch sulphuric. malts and wheat, as well as citrussy. less dry or intense than a lambic / geuze from cantillon, and way more grainy. Less complex. Decent.
