Combining the dark fruits and light chocolate character of local hand-harvested and home roasted Cretan carob (ceratonia siliqua) with an 8 hour boil extremely condensed malty Imperial English Brown Ale! It's aroma is like stuffing your nose inside a bush, a bush filled with overripe wild blackberries! Taste is heavy malty but not cloying, with carob tannins and a long aftertaste of berry and malty goodness!

Bottle, many tanks for sharing Fin! Black, brown head. Interesting spicy caramel, light licorice and cocoa aroma. Medium full, sweet cheese base, viscous. Spicy caramel, tree resin, sweet vanilla sugar and cocoa finish. Berry notes retronasal. Unique for sure!

Bottle, 2020 vintage. Brown color with beige head. Aroma is indeed some Roquefort & Gorgonzola, berries too, caramel. Taste is caramel, berries, a touch resin, bitterness in the back too, fudge, viscous. Oily viscous mouthfeel, fine-bubbled carbonation. Very characterful, another crazy but working Kykao experiment!

330ml bottle. Almost opaque, dark brown colour with ruby shimmer and small to average, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Spicy-fruity, carob dominated aroma, notes of red and dark berries, blue mould cheese (Blue Stilton), blackberry. Taste is sweet-ish, nutty, slightly chocolately, caramel malty, spicy, minimally fruity, some blackberry, a cheesy touch of blue mould cheese again, some liquorice (Haribo Lakritzschnecken). Viscous texture, smooth, soft and silky, slightly cloying palate, very fine, soft to flat carbonation. Quite unique composition, extremely viscous texture - very interesting.
