330ml can from CroCraft in the Mall of Split. Pours a very dark brown with a off white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of berries, coffee, plum & roasted malt. Medium body. Slightly sour light bitter finish. Enjoyable

0,33 l can. Pours dark brown with absolutely huge (2/3 of the glass) tan head. Aroma is mainly roasted malt, sourness and some nuts. No chocolate or coffee mentioned in description from brewery...Taste is mild sweet and quite sour, some mainly roasted malt bitterness. Finish is again quite sour, medium lasting. Possibly gone bad, hardly drinkable anyway.

Can at Ambasada, Zagreb. Color is very dark brown with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, coffee, roasted malts .. little bit of thin for me.

Can 0.33l, many thanks, Marko! One year aged. Cloudy, red to black colored. AROMA- dark chocolate, liquid chocolate, creamy, roasted, a bit floral and leafy. FLAVOR- creamy, slightly sweet, moderately bitter, roasted, chocolate, cocoa nibs, caramel, earthy, leafy. Medium to fuller bodied. Well aged, tasty.

Optisch tiefschwarz mit kastanienbraunen Reflexen. Die hellbraune, beinahe cremige Schaumkrone hinterlässt dabei einen gut haltbaren Eindruck. Die Duftaromatik bringt Noten von kräftigem Röstmalz, Bitterschokolade, sanfte Säure, Dörrobst und muffiger, holziger Würze mit sich. Der Antrunk kommt weichrezent und kräftig röstig. Dörrobstnoten, eine leichte Säure und ein leicht holziger Charakter sind ebenso dabei. Am Gaumen machen sich selbstverständlich die röstigen, leicht kokeligen Aromen mit Noten von Zartbitterschokolade, sehr sehr dunklem Röstmalz und säuerlichem Mokka breit. Die zarten Dörrobst- und würzigen Holznoten kommen dabei gar nicht so gut auf, wie erwartet. Ein gutes Gesamtbild ergibt sich aber dennoch - obwohl das Säurespiel vielleicht einen Hauch milder ausfallen könnte. Mundgefühl und Trinkspaß darf man als ganz okay bewerten. Im Nachtrunk ist von der Säure nichts mehr vorhanden und leicht süßliche Noten mischen sich zu den deutlichen Röstaromen. Nach einiger Zeit bleibt eine trockene, aschige Herbe stehen. Mein Fazit: Nicht uninteressant, aber auch nicht bemerkenswert.

Nach dem tollen, nicht so Lager-artigen Lager der Brauerei wollte ich noch das Porter probieren. Und ich wurde auch nicht enttäuscht. Es hat tolle bittermalzige Aromen gepaart mit Schokolade und Kakao. Das bekommen andere besser hin, aber nicht viele.
