Hazy gold, small white head. Nose of candi sugar, light yeast/fruit. Spicy yeast palate, dry with big long very bitter end; not much else. Poorly balanced

473 ml can. Pours a bright amber with moderate head. Aromas of dull fruity esters and soft toasted malts. Flavors bring out Belgian yeast and fruity esters with a little citrus and dry biscuity malts. Good.

Florals and lemon. Light grapefruit peel. Golden pour with ok head. Light sweet finish with a hint of bitterness. Can.

On tap at R & B, pours a fairy clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out esters from the Belgian yeast, candi sugar, and some crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is on the estery and sweet side—so, unlike an authentic Belgian golden—with candi sugar and floral notes. Too estery and too much residual sweetness without any complexity from the yeast. Not very good.

Poured from the tap. Clear-ish gold with small white head. Esters, wheat, and light citrus. Meh.

Clear gold body and minimal foam. Very faint citrus if I inhale deeply, just like Bill Clinton didn't. Taste is wheaty banana, soft citrus, ending with lingering sweetness. Quite soft and boring but certainly drinkable.
