Sabro Kolsch is a lager but not quite as you know it. Weve taken a traditional beer style we love and added a modern twist with the addition of Sabro hops. A warm tropical pineapple flavour will greet you initially and then youll be joined by coconut on the finish. A truly unique but wonderful combination.

Can. Bright clear paleish gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, semi dry and has a decent fine crispness. Light malts, just sweet enough. Mild lager tang. The Sabro could have overwhelmed this brew very easily but it hasn't been overdone. Light piney pineapple and a touch of ripe citrus. Light finish. Decent.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden yellow with a light haze. Snow white, generous head. Nose - bread, lemon, pineapple and a base sweet coconut note. Taste - bitter lemon, dried pineapple and light grapefruit. Pithy and grated coconut. Palate - light bodied, fruity, tangy middle and a finish that is nicely dried out by the coconut and pithiness. Overall - good, could happily scud another.
