500ml bottle from Misty Bottle, Skye. It pours darkest brown with a small beige head. The aroma is toasty, earthy roast, bitter - sweet, treacle, dark fruits, plum, prune, supermarket brand cola and some malt loaf. The taste is dry up front, initially it feels thin, earthy bitterness, floral, some kind of sharpness, bitter - sweet character, rola cola, Dandelion & Burdock, tannin, slightly burnt edge, plum, prune and a touch of coffee. Light+ body and fine, prickly carbonation. I quite like the aroma, but the body is a bit thin to be honest. Drinkable enough anyhow.
