One for the coffee lovers! We chose an 18 month old Heaven Hill barrel aged breakfast stout with a balanced yet warming flavour profile. We added a Brazilian coffee before packaging which releases pleasant aromas of nutty, fruity coffee and light caramel chocolate with a bright underlying oak character.

(Draught at Billie's Bier Kafétaria, Antwerpen, 19 Oct 2023) Black colour with creamy pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with espresso, cacao, liquorice, oak wood, vanilla and bourbon. Malty, roasted, sweet taste with notes of espresso, liquorice, dark chocolate, oak wood, bourbon and a balanced coffee bitterness in the finish. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Rich and warming, with loads of coffee and bourbon barrels. Great beer.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, fudge, burnt toffee, roasted coffee, a little blackcurrant, taste is similar, chewy, bitter, roasted.
