Winter is coming… and the smoky beer as well ! This copper coloured beer was made with peated malt. The light smoky smell gives some intense smoky taste. Rapidly, it makes room for the fruity flavours of the elderberry and the triple yeast. The woody finish comes from the infused oak chips.

Tap at beerstorming. Pours deep redblonde. Decent white head. smell is full, sweet vanilla/butter from the oak, but not oaky on its own. Bit sweet. Taste is sharp, tad sweet , full on oaksweetness (vanilla) rather thin mf to usual standards, but very nice mf to beerstorming standards. Rather high carbo. Not bad at all. Don't get smoked or peated though, so the concept seems a bit off here...
