Clear red brown beer, creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, cow fodder, hay, very intense malt, raw grains, a bit grassy. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, very bitter, dry. Aftertaste: more malts, grains, hay, cow fodder.

330 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.4%. Beautiful and clear chestnut colour, large off-white head. Aroma of malts (some of it lightly roasted), brown bread, burnt breadcrumbs, some caramel. The flavour is not too sweet, but has the same elements as the aroma, and more bittering hops than your average dunkel.

8-5-7-5-15 Bottle, 1899.2097, @ 4,4 % ABV, ten months after bottling. Pours slightly hazy mahogany, with a big creamy mocha head. Aroma is roasted malts with bread, burned sugar, leather and nutty notes, as well as herbal hops. Medium body to full body, with average carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with bread, dark caramel and nuts, as well as herbal hops with leafy minerals. Very balanced and quaffable!

Slightly hazy amber/brown beer with a thick off-white head. Smells of light, toasty malt. Flavour has toasty malt too, a little nutty, a dash of light coffee, a bit of toffee. Light but punchy.
