Crimson is our kriek framboise blend. We aged 1 year old spontaneously fermented beer on 830 grams per litre of sour cherries for 6 months. Before bottling we blended another Spon beer aged on 300 grams per litre of raspberries with the cherry beer. The final assemblage of 75% Cherry beer & 25% raspberry beer transcends both their individual selves.

Bottle sampled at Billies. Clear deep red. Sour cherries, funk, tons of raspberries, vanilla, dry oak, lemon. Over medium sour, just medium sweet. Nice!

750ml bottle. Cloudy, purple colour with small, frothy fading, minimally pink-ish, white head. Sweet-ish, fruity and slightly lactic aroma, notes of sweet cherry, raspberry, a touch of sauerkraut. Taste is sour, lactic, fruity, notes of sauerkraut, minimally diluted hints of raspberry and cherry.
Minimally oily, watery texture, astringent, simultaneously minimally greasy palate, medium, dense, prickly carbonation.
Wonderful nose, a bit rough concerning taste - OK.

Bottleshare XX in De Beugel. Pours a pinkish red colour and a light pink head. Aroma's are sour, fruit, almond. Retronasal it's sour and the cherry and raspberry can be recognised. Flavour is sour with a hint of sweetness, from the fruit presumably. Light bodied.

Deep pink head over slightly hazy red-pink to purple beer. Intense, overpowering sour cherry nose with in the background perfumey raspberry. An almost unbelievable intense red fruit - both sour cherry and raspberry - flavour, totally integrated with the beer imposing themselves as ultimate character. Light acidthinning and -burn, refreshing and sparkling. Absolutely amongst the best fruitbeers recently sampled. Cudo's to the brewer!

Bottle from Etre. Deep burgundy with a very shortlived fuzzy pinkish head. Sour cherries, raspberry kernels, quite puckering. SLight funk in the aroma. Not very complex but quite tasty.
