Can from Die Bierothek® Nürnberg when visiting Nürnberg for the Franconian Bierfestival with Jude and Baz. Had this Wednesday 13th July 2022 sat outside listening to Gideon Coe on 6Music, we had Baked Feta with Cherry Tomatoes and Pasta tonight. Pours black as yer 'at with a tan head. Sour cherry, roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. Smooth in the mouth, love this, it really is as described, love the cherry flavour but loving the combination of flavours.

440ml can. Pours jet black with a large head. Aroma is cherry cola and dark chocolate. Taste has tart cherry cola and dark chocolate throughout with sponge cake on the finish.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Black, brown foam. Cheap cherry candy, a bit of chocolate, vegetal, sweet-sourish, bitter, alcohol.

Tap at 100 piv. Med-full body, med-high carbonation. Very high sweetness, sugary, balanced inadequately by med-light warmth and roast bitterness. Feels sharp, hard to drink. Moderate cherry and cocoa chocolatey flavour, molasses. Over the top in ABV, but otherwise feels empty. Not great, not terrible.

Tap. Malty aroma and taste, chocolate, roastyness, cherries in taste, caramel, light sweet, medium bitter. Medium body, texture thinner than expected, malty choco fruity bitter finish. Ok.

Tap at 100 piv. Almost Black color with thick beige head. Aroma of caramel, dark malt, nutty, wood(?). Taste, chocolate, caramel, light red fruit, coffee, sourness from coffee, light coconut.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Wingmane for this one. A thick black brown coloured pour with alasting dense dark tan head. Aroma is dark bitter chocolate, liquorice, toasted cinnamon, liquorice, cherry,dark chocolate. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily, chocolate syrup, cherry liquor, kirsh, black forest gateaux. Palate is medium sweet, medium full bodies, fine carbonation, fine carbonation.

Panda at home, thanks to Dave, 09/04/22. Black with a well presented tan covering that dissipates edgewards. Nose is dark malts, spice, hint of ginger, cherry, molasses, chocolate. Taste smacks a bite of Black Forest Gateaux, dark malts, light roast, spice, molasses, chocolate, good cherry schmack. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Solid impy ... does what it says on the tin rather well and sips easy for its double digit ABV.
