The First release in our “New Orthodox” IPA series, M-43 is designed to accentuate the deep and complex character from the combination of Calypso, Amarillo, Citra, and Simcoe hops. Citrus and Tropical notes of Pineapple, Mango and Grapefruit come through in the huge, yet surprisingly delicate aroma. The flavor backs these aromas with a soft, pillowy mouthfeel. Hop bitterness is not particularly intense, which leads to a very drinkable, juicy IPA even non-IPA fans love. The Haze is not from yeast, but rather from an interplay of lipids from the malted oat and oils and acids which naturally occur in the hand selected Dry hops. This beer is a perfect interplay between top grade malt and hops, MI water and brewing technique which cannot be faked.

473ml can. Opaque orange juice like pour with an initially very large white head which settles nicely. Aroma of orange juice, zest, apricot, peach. Taste is super juicy, fruity, orange, stone fruits, grapefruit, passionfruit, light sweet and a slight pithy bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Juice bomb is thrown around a lot these days for beers in this style, but this one is truly deserving of it

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Looks good. Fine fruity-hoppy aroma. Starts fruity like lemon, light sourish, more and more moldy without being too intense. Also some herbal notes. Finish well balanced, fine fruity. Quite drinkable. Nice.

1 pint can. Murky yellowy gold colour, white foamy head leaving lacing and aroma of tropical fruit, mango, peach, citrus, hoppy. Taste is malt caramel with juicy fruits, tropical mango, peach and some citrus, with floral, dusty, pine, hop resiny bittterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi-dry hoppy bitter finish. Nicely balanced, very drinkable.

Can from Mikkeller Webshop. Hazy yellow/orange with a medium white head. Fresh with hops, pineapple, mango and some tangerine. Also some light notes of vanilla. The body was medium as was the bitterness. A nicely drinkable one.
