750ml wired cork bottle from Cat in the Glass, as Newtons Bottle Fermented Dry Cider. Hazy golden colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of fruity apple, fleshy. Taste is sweetish, tangy, apple, fruity, fleshy, some core, woody, funk & citric hints and drying tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, medium-dry lightly tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle from the Bristol Cider Shop. Slightly hazy gold with moderate carbonation. Dry aroma with tart apple fruit, a hint of fartiness and cheese. Easy drinking, with sweetish apple flavours and some yeasty lemon notes, before a medium dry finish. Very drinkable.
