Cask at The Camphill Club, West Byfleet. Clear chestnut. Thick foamy head with everlasting lacing. Aroma has unintrusive berries and caramel. Light-medium bitter. Woody. Berryvtang. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice enough.

Chestnut brown with a frothy tan head and a little malty and floral on the nose. Sweet and malty with a slightly tart dark berry fruitiness and a dry, mellow bitter finish.

Cask at the Corstorphine Inn. Pours clear dark copper with a thin single-cream-like head. Aromas of vanilla and caramel. Taste is sweet toffee up front, faint fruit cake. Sweet finish. Not bitter enough for me.

Dark copper color. Light toffee and milk chocolate malty nose. Soft mouth, slightly sour. Caramel, toffee sourness is a bit off putting. Lingering malty finish

Pint on tap at The Laughing Fish, Isfield. Deep copper/red beer with thin white head. Zero carbonation. Lightly malty nose. Laces well. Light body, sweet taste at first becoming more bitter and herbal later. Tangy and drying right at the end. Slightly different to your usual bitter but perfectly drinkable.
