Clear nutty color with a thick tan head that stays for a long time. Looks good. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft to flat carbonation level. Thin caramel, some bready notes and mild fruity flavor.

Cask at the Townhouse, Ely. Mid brown, clear, very translucent. Vinegar, caramel, crystal malt aroma. Sweet taste with a bitter buck. Finish reminiscent of stone fruit and wine gums. Nicely carbonated. Solid enough offering from the GK stable

Has a light hoppiness in the aroma. A fairly simple bitter that is rather thin and watery. Lacks depth.
