Danish Wild Ale with White Saturn Peaches aged in Wild Ale Barrels for 18-36 months.
Pántáo 2020 is our beloved Danish Wild Ale with White Saturn Peaches. Due to the incredible 2020 harvest of white Saturn peaches, Pántáo 2020 returns back to a similar flavor and acid profile found in Blend 1 (2018).
Pántáo 2020 is bursting with fresh white peach flavor, with a balanced acidity that brings a unique freshness that can be incredibly challenging to capture in a beer.
For maceration we chose 1-2 year old Danish Wild Ale barrels, with an average age of just over 18 months. The peaches then macerated (with stones) in the beer for 6 weeks. After maceration, we added a bit of 3 year old Danish Wild Ale to round out the complexity, bringing an incredible amount of character that can only be balanced out by over 700 grams of fresh, succulent white Saturn peaches per liter of beer.

75cl bottle tasted up against batch 1. Shared with Pastry Joseph and SirAlex. Pours cloudy orange Golden with a collapsing head. Sweet Canned peaches , Wood and funk. Very dry and slightly sharp with a complexity that is slightly underwhelming compared to previous batches. A tasty drink nevertheless!

Bottle, 750 ml shared with Max, Miro B and Zec. Hazy yellow, almost no head. Lots of peaches in aroma and especially taste. Like biting into nectarine. Juicy. Funky. Medium sourness. Medium bodied, tad thin finish. Really nice.

Bottle, thanks SirLimpsalot. Hazy light yellow with a small head. Quite sour with funk, peach, some citrus and notes of oak. A refreshing one.

750 ml bottle from MBC. Yellow, medium hazy body, with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Aroma with lots of red, ripe peach, barnyard, some citrus, some straw, slight wood. Tastes similar, with some more citrus. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with ana avergae carbonation. Finishes dry, moderate sour, citric, fruity, with lots of peach again, some green apple, subtle vinegar. Really tasty. Loads of lovely, ripe peach, especially in the nose. Not too sour, drinks fresh and smooth. Lovely stuff, on par with the first batch. Score: 9 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 17
