Smoked with the right intensity, it's still clearly a smoked porter, and not just a smokey beer. Smooth, flavourful for the ABV, smokey of course, fairly sweet. Good bit of roast as well. Could do with a bit more excitement, but well made.

Can at home split with Sarah. A nut cola brown coloured pour with a lasting light tan head. Aroma is earthy nutty malts, peat smoke, tangy dried fruit, apple, soggy bark. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, earthy hazelnut, low earthy smoke, bark, light spices, Palate is semi sweet, light creamy, moderate carbonation.. Not bad.

Keg at MS HW, 26/10/18. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige head. Nose is toffee, light smoke, fruit esters, light charr. Taste comprises dried fruits, toffee, light cocoa dusting, mellow smoked malts, biscuit, fruit slice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent well balanced number.
