Tasting at Salesforce
Black colour, oily, thick. Dark chocolate aroma, some coconut. Thick and oily mouthfeel, powerful sweetness, but cut by a big roast character, burnt sugars, and quite some alcohol too; coffee, mild vanilla and coconut. A bit of tar in the finish.
It's on the roast/booze side of pasty stouts.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Black with very minimal tan head. Coconut, vanilla, mild cacao. Really nice combo.

750ml (thx, Christophe L.!) @ SalesForce. Appearance: very dark brown with a brown head. Aroma: lots of coconut, vanilla, and coconut. The mix of these is so weird for me up to the point that it reminds me a lot about tonka beans and cinnamon spice. Taste: very sweet, lots of cocoa, coconut with vanilla. Overall: good, but it's a bit chaotic.

750mL bottle, pours jet black with almost no head and some chunky coconut flakes. Nose is all coconut, with intense coconut galore, followed by subdued coffee, cacoa and vanilla. Flavour more obviously reveals the other elements -- there's loads of coconut, but also lots of vanilla, cocoa and very subdued coffee. Love the coconut here, which creates this soft, silky mouthfeel. Excellent pastry.

Jet black with a small light brown head. Sweet chocolate candy and vanilla. Sticky and sweet with lots of fudge and vanilla. Super sweet. Dried coconut is there, but not up front.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of cocoa and vanilla with some nice floral coffee notes and coconut notes. Taste is also a great mix of cocoa and coconut with some superb floral coffee notes with just the right amount of residual sugar and vanilla. Body si full with a nice creamy texture and good carbonation. Impeccable pastry stout.
