Bourbon Barrel Aged Quad
Brewed once a year, this special quadrupel is aged in bourbon barrels. The alcohol content of the quad pulls the bourbon, vanilla, and charred oak character out of the barrel and melds it all together with the caramel richness already present in the ale.
We've been wood aging beers since we opened in 2010. The 2021 vintage of Wizard Burial Ground is yet another stellar version of this legendary beer.

2021 can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear amber chestnut color with a finger of beige head that dissipates. Prune, oak and dates on the nose with warming bourbon and vanilla as it warms. More fruit and oak on the palate. Good lingering vanilla, slight bitterness and warming bourbon. Very nice.
