Cask at Weymouth Oktoberfest. Aroma is malty and buttery with a light citrus and herbs edge. Copper gold. Thin foamy translucent white head. Medium bitter. Quinine. Citrus edge. Underlying biscuity malts and boiled veg. Old school UK IPA/Gold action. Not great.

Cask at B&K Dorchester. It pours clear amber with a decent white head. The nose is sweetish, caramel, toffee, earth, oily action and resin. The taste is bitter - sweet, wood, resin, caramel, toffee, earth, alcohol hit and light spice with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A bit more toffee than I would expected. Overall OK at best but not a classic US IPA by any measure.

Cask at the brewpub, 28/10/15. Hazed orange amber with a well appointed light beige covering. Nose is orange marmalade, tangerine, toasted bread, earthy hops sweet malt. Taste comprises earthy tones, chalky minerals, bitter orange, light tropicanic slaver, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close laced with earthy hop bitterness. Decent enough cask IPA.
