bottle from superbrugsen enghavevej. clear yellow, head that soon disappears.sour aroma sort of similar to sweetened lambic with clear wooden notes, leather, aroma however is a bit sweet. apart from the sweetness, really cool aroma, very wild, yet very rounded. flavor is wood, rubber, sour notes, booze, hay, grass. strange flavro, kinda sour but never going all the way, the feel is thick, deep rounded, with clear notes of the booze from the barrelling, and the wood. opinions will probably vary a lot, but this could be a very nice sipper if you have the time, there are lots of stuff to explore in the flavor profile. more complex and rounded than the non barreled version, but also sweeter.Taste also reminds me of the strongest ciders i’ve tasted. the alc. is so high it moderates the sourness.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, lemons, malt, and vanilla. The flavor is sweet and acidic with notes of hay, brettanomyces, wood, and horseblanket, leading to a tart finish, with a slight alcohol burn. Very refined.
