Mark Fadlagret har lagret på portvinsfade, som har været brugt til at lagre både whiskey og Stjernebryg tidligere. Den er vinøs og syrlig og har tydelige toner af tanniner fra fadene, som giver en rund og fyldig afrunding på det syrlige bryg.

Bottle vintage 2014, shared by fatphil, thanks. Pours golden with whiteish head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is fruits, sour, sweetness, alcohol, sharpness. Flavor is sweet and sour, acidic, red berries. Alcohol is well covered. Overall: ok, weird berry juice.

Bottle @ DØE. Pours Clear golden with an very small offwhite head. Aroma of malt, light sourness, hay, apples, wood, yeast, hint of port. Flavor is light sweet, light sour, malt, wood, yeast, little vinegar, hay, fruit, port notes, alcohol. Medium body, average carboantion, light acidic finish. 200116

Draught @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2015 ] @ Lokomotivvaerkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Herslev MARK Fadlagret ].Clear medium yellow color with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, dried fruit - port - tawny, grapes - wine. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, tart dried fruit - tawny - port, pale malt, grapes - wine. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150528]

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - golden pour with white head. Aroma and taste is a mix of both sweet and medium sour fruity and malty, some wooden notes, some straw and lemony citrous acidic action, sweet finish.

Hazy golden, sparkling with unstable airy white head. Sour aroma, yoghurt and berries. Similar flavour with milky sourness and vinous and citric notes. Wood comes later on. Mouthfeel is pretty solid but still has a certain freshness to it. Well made, quite interesting.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Ariel’s place. 11%. Hazy golden. Aroma of yogurt, fruits and some pickled vegetables. Sourish flavor with yogurt, fruitiness, wine notes, alcohol, and a bit of pickled vegetables. OK, kinda boozy and heavy.

Small white head quickly dissipates. Hazy yellow body. Mealy lemony aroma with floral notes. Very unusual aroma. Acidic lemony strawberry taste with mealy sherbet notes. Mid-bodied. Fizzy mouthfeel. Acidic mealy lemon and strawberry sherbet aftertaste with melon and flower notes. Very nice. Drinkable and highly unusual. (0.5l bottle, shared by Tore N.)

Draught at KØ15. Vinous aroma, hint of vanilla. Cloudy dark golden colour. No head. The flavour starts off citric. Then comes a vanilla note, nicely vinous. Refreshing and well-balanced.
