Bottle. Pours a deep earthy red with a white head that dissipates completely. Aroma has a dark raspberry with a touch of oak and funk underlying. Flavor has a great tart raspberry with a slight acid note and funk backing.

Blood red, 1 finger pink head. The nose is intensely jammy. Raspberry for days. Possibly more than LP Frambois. Very good balance of tart, tannic, sour apple, cherry, raspberry, pear and oak. Acidic but not puckering. So well crafted. damn.

Bottle split at RB Best Encomium share, Santa Rosa, 30/01/16 - Many Thanks ! Reddish amber with a crimson cap. Nose is tangy red berries, oak, red grape must, plummy notes, dry rot. Taste comprises sharp raspberries, dried fruits, damp wood, vinous notes, funk, tarte berry skins, grape must, light spice, fruit balsams. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough fayre but overly sharp/vinegary and a little out of balance for me.

Thnx to david . Pours dark redpurple. Small white head. Smell is super intense fruity. Mildly acidic, oak. Taste is very full, intensely sour, but with a very decent complexity. High carbo. Ok, bit astrigent MF. Sourness is perhaps a bit too high , as this is really vinegar / acidic. Nice beer though.

The beer is a deep purple. Opaque. Small pink maroon head. Huge raspberry flavor in the aroma. Solid funk. Mild cheesiness. Lots of nice fruitiness against the sour. Jammy, vinous, some nice oak. Lemon tartness mostly from the berries. Taste is fairly tart but not harsh. Very good funk to this beer. Fizzy feel. Probably my favorite O’so beer so far.
