Sample at West End Ciderhouse. Dark brown color with a medium beige head that diminishes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Roasted malt, coffee and chocolate aromas. Light-bodied with a roasty malt and coffee character, and semi-sweet chocolate in the background. The finish is mildly smoked malt and coffee. Above average overall.

On tap at the brewery. Dark brown appearance with a brown head. Aroma smells delicious. Chocolate, caramel, smoke, and roast. Clean profile. Lots of burnt sugar, char, and caramel. Quite good.
