On tap @ 1933. Pours a cloudy yellow orange appearance with an off white head. Candy, bubblegum, banana, grass, and light citrus in the nose. The body isn’t too flabby which is nice. A touch on the sweet side but not too bad. Slightly spicy but really not overrun with phenols like some American-made German-style Hefeweizens. Banana, candy necklace, mild bubblegum flavors. Some slightly aggressive bitter hops in the background but certainly not overpowering by any means. Finishes cleans. Not a stellar Hefeweizen by any stretch but it’s also not a kick in the balls, over the top, phenol and ester gang bang like so many American releases. I’d drink this again.
