On tap at the brewery. Black, with a small, creamy beige head. The nose is light coffee, coconut water, melons, peat, and slightly floral. Medium to heavy body, syrupy, chalky, and thick. This is a roast forward beer, with very little bitterness.

On tap @ the brewery. Midnight black appearance with a dark brown head. Roast, dark chocolate, light pine, lightly spicy aroma. Medium body. Quite piney and spicy hoppy, dark chocolate, mild caramel flavor. Fine.

On tap at the brewery it is a dark brown with an ecru head the aroma is coffee and the taste is strong coffee and there are shades of grapefruit and ends with a silky bitterness
