A clear light gold with A wheaty lemon aroma. The taste is very clean, medium bodied, honey, floral, wheat, a bit tart and smooth. Cool stuff.

Sample at the tap room. The beer pours a hazy golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of fruit, rye and hops. Medium body with flavors of herbal yeast, rye malt and mild hops. The finish is fruity with a rye and yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.

On tap @ the brewery. Clear yellow appearance with a thin white head. Black pepper, bubblegum, grass, and banana in the nose. It’s advertised as bone dry but I find it a touch sweet. Lots of apple and banana. Dull carbonation. A little thick. Not my favorite Saison but I would drink a pint of this.

Tap at the brewery - clear gold - refreshingly crisp and dry, without the heavyesters you often get in american saisons - crisp, with notes of hay, grassy, some underlying spicy phenolics - the rye adds a little too much heft for me, but I’m happy with how rustic and dry this is.
