0.33 l bottle from Vrutak, Zagreb. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is malty, fruity, fruit jam, some candy or sugar, some vegetable, a hint of honey. Flavour is fruity, a bit sugary, a herbal or grassy touch. Some sweetness at first, finishes quite bitter. Light body, soft texture, moderate carbonation, moderate finish. Not an IPA but a red ale, holding up quite okay.

Gefällt mir gut, fast wie eine Assemblage aus einem Red Ale und nem IPA. Schöne rubinrote Farbe, kaum Schaum. Sehr spritzig, eher auf der röstigen Malzseite als allzu hopfenbetont.

33 cl bottle served in Chimay chalice. A reddish brown pour with grey to tan head. Aroma is low and rather unpleasant: sweaty feet. There's also a hint of strawberry, barely noticeable. Dry sip, neither crisp nor dank, a little low on sourness which renders it heavy. Bah.

Bottle, 0.33l. Deep amber pour, half finger frothy off-white head. Good retention, some lacing on the glass. Malty nose, toasted, sugary, hints of caramel. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation. Fizzy mouthfeel, average texture. Balanced bittersweet taste, starts off sweet with bitterness kicking in the background. Aroma of toasted caramel, toffee, sugar. Mild grainy notes, herbal, some spiciness. Grassy hops, subtle fruity notes. Medium lasting finish, dry, lingering bitterness. Definitely not an IPA like the name would suggest, more like hoppy red ale. Not bad actually.

Dark red brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of earthy, noble hop bitterness. Also some caramel malts. A bit light. Doesn't pack enough punch for an IPA.

Bottle at the taproom. Pours dark amber, rather unclear, small white head. Bubbles to the side point to an unclean glass. Smell is caramel, heavy on the malts, not much hops. Taste is sharp , bitter, metallic , mild bitternesa. Very stale ( best by date 2019 which is incredibly long for an IPA, especially since it already tastes old now ) hige caramel, bready notes. Not even remotely what an IPA should be these days.
