Bottle thanks to George. Pours a dark brown with medium tan head that lasts leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong whiskey, wood, and roast. Thick mouth, strong roast, bourbon, chocolate, toasted malt, vanilla, really enjoyed this one.

Bottle @ Steve’s house. Thanks Armin! Pours a deep orangish brown appearance with a thin tan head. A bit chalky, dark chocolate, Oaty, caramel aroma. Kind of aggressive carbonation. Dark chocolate. Caramel, toffee, vanilla. A bit of cola. Solid but nothing special.

22 oz. bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks a lot, Dany), pours a viscous black with a small tan / brown head. Nose brings out loads of whisky, roasted malt, caramel and cocoa. Flavour is rich and thick, with roasted malt, whisky, dry cocoa, and wood. Super complex, viscous on the palate, and fairly dry. Rich and decadent - drinkable in smaller amounts. Excellent.

Bottle from a trade poured into a Belgian snifter. Pours a motor oily consistency, jet black color with almost a finger of tan head. Not really any lacing. Aromas of Jameson whiskey, coconut, dark chocolate, vanilla. On the taste, a good amount of Jameson whiskey notes, dark chocolate, oak, roast, dark fruit. Barrel notes held up very well considering it’s around 10 months old. Oily mouthfeel and low carbonation. Full body with a dry and warm boozy finish. Pretty enjoyable if you like Irish whiskey and BORIS, I do enjoy the regular bourbon barrel aged BORIS a bit more though.

Bomber thanks to Dan! Cheers man. Pours a pure black color, oil can-like, a medium brown thick head. A interesting nose of charred wood, smoke, heat, bitter dark chocolate. Huge whiskey nose. The flavor is interesting: where bourbon pulls out sweet vanilla and oak, this is more bitter dry grainy flavors, certainly heat, the smoke is light, big grains including oats, there is a rawness that I really like. This will grow hair on your chest. Finishes dry, chocolate and sweeter almost milky stout elements. Very good. I really grew on me. Hmm. What is this whiskey? Not cloying at all, very hot but drinkable.

22oz bomber pours with a deep dark chocolate body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up chocolate mixed with booze and malt sweetened dark roasted maltiness as well as a mild smooth whiskey note. The taste is smooth and rich where I get dark roasted malts, yummy tasty chocolate bar, a bit of sweet malts and then smooth whiskey and a mild wood note. This is damn smooth and rich and balanced and tasty, wow.
