Keg at the brewery. Dark brown with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of nuts, caramel, plum, earthy hops. The taste is caramel, bright stone fruit, toffee, herbal, vegetal notes, nutmeg. Medium bodied.

Location: Draft at the brewery, 1/17/15
Aroma: The aroma is floral and spice, with noticeable ginger, and some caramel/toffee malts.
Appearance: It pours a dark orange color with a small head and some light, drippy lace.
Flavor: It has a similar flavor of floral and spice, it is moderately sweet, and minimally bitter.
Palate: The body is medium-plus, with a spice feel, a hint of stickiness, and a lingering finish.
Overall Impression: This was a pretty interesting one for me. It wasn’t one of my favorites of the Strangeways brews, but it was definitely something fairly unique that I enjoyed trying.

Heavy carbonation. Murky dark orange appearance with a huge khaki head. Quite spicy nose. Some candy sugar, orange citrus, tangerine, cinnamon, vanilla, allspice in the aroma. Kind of goopy and medicinal. Spritzy, orange candy flavor. Brown sugar / toffee flavors as well. High carb. Kind of weird and far too sweet.
