We welcomed our former Head Brewer Ryan back to the brewery for this collaboration with his own brand - Casita Cerveceria. The idea behind Double Iced Latte was to create something with the creaminess of a latte in combination with the vibrancy of an IPA. The coffee used here is a Kenya Thunguri, sweet roasted for a beautifully rich and full flavour, supplied by our local roaster Tamp Culture.

Nice coffee aroma, light spice. Taste is different, creamy. Nice stuff. Second time. Nice stuff! Spice, coffee, roast, creaminess, some kind of citrus hoppiness. Touch of choc and caramel in the coffee.

330ml bottle. Hazy, dark yellow-ish, golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy and pale malty aroma, hints of orange and lemon, pineapple, partially detached, underlying notes of coffee. Taste is slightly sweet pale malty and citrusy hoppy, notes of orange, lemon, some pineapple, widely disguised hints of coffee; smooth and soft palate, slightly oily texture. Not completely harmonious, not fully embedded coffee flavours (especially concerning aroma), but a very nice IPA.
