On tap @ Black Bottle. Pours a milky yellow appearance with a white head. Really spicy yeasty, bright citrusy, peppery, somewhat herbal, orange fruity aroma. A touch tart, chewy squash, light caramel, orange citrusy, peppery flavor. OK but I like a lot of their other Saison better.

On tap at brewpub. Aroma is fairly floral with a nice phenolic valance of light pepper and coriander. Light pear and citrus esters. Pours a murky golden orange with a somewhat thin white head with average retention that lingers on the edges. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor has a light grainy sweetness with a moderately strong floral character. Light coriander and peppercorn notes come in at the end to balance the floral notes. Mid palate some light citrus and pear notes. Medium light bitterness with a light floral hop character. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation; very silky mouthfeel. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall a very enjoyable beer with a nice mouthfeel and great water profile. Nice floral quality that isn’t too overwhelming and is well balanced by the phenolics.

Tap at Trinity - hazy gold with a fluffy white head - a very earthy, tangy saison, with a yeasty character not unlike a hefe - medium dry, peppery, with a hint of pear character - just the slightest bit of funkiness to it - the squash compounds the earthiness, but thankfully does not add a vegetal character - dry, dusty finish - quite good.
