This should be classified as a smoked beer. Light smoke and mild malt flavors, almost like a smoked mild really, especially considering the low alcohol. Golden ales are rarely good, this is an exception.

On tap @ Hammerheart. Pours a hazy orange appearance with a white head. Somewhat ashy, orange, a bit minty aroma. Bitter herbal, campfire smoky, somewhat citrusy, kind of thin flavor. Interesting but could use a bit of body.
