Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours black with a deep brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of roasted malts and coffee with creamy sweet dark grains backing. Flavor has roasted malts up front with sweet dark grains and a touch of butterscotch backing.

On tap @ the brewery in Hudson. Pours a bit hazy deep brown appearance with a dark brown head. Milk chocolate, lightly toasted, coffee, vanilla aroma. Somewhat earthy coffee, dark chocolate, fairly bitter flavor. Pretty good.
