Cask. Golden-amber, light haze. No sparkler on this one. Assertive hop, leafy grapefruit, lemon balm, very appetizing. Yeah, it’s a bit syrupy, no surprise there, but some nice floral and pithy hop notes, too. Finishes a bit too cloying- gotta keep it light for cask- but not bad.

Cask @ Hogshead (Double Simcoe). Pours a bit hazy golden appearance with a creamy off white head. Spicy piney, a bit dank hoppy, light grassy, a touch citrusy aroma. Creamy, somewhat bitter, grassy, orange citrusy, piney flavor. Easy to drink.

Cask - pale gold, frothy head - very crisp, crackery, clean - the beauty of this brewer’s beer is often in the expressive malts and complex yeast profile, but it, it is all about the hops - crisp, citric, tropical (pineapple) - maybe a little bit of mustiness from.the yeast, but mostly a great hop showcase, and quite a quaffable one.
