22oz bomber, courtesy of gregwilsonstl, pours with a deep copper hop hazed body that supports a full tan head. The aroma offers up malt thickened pine hops to go along with thin citrus hops, thick spicy dank hops and then more various sweet smelling malt notes. The taste starts with thick malt thickened pine hops and then heading into a modestly growing spicy onion like hoppiness. Nice sipper as the malts try and create a near nectar like sweetness amid a sea of tasty pine hop bitterness and resiny hop notes.

Bottle shared during RBWG 2013 - Jacksonville. Pours clear ruby with a creamy, beige head. Sugary caramel on the nose with licks of alcohol. Medium to big sweet flavor with lightly dried caramel, some leafy bitterness. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately warming to finish with dry earth and leaves, more caramel, some dried fruits. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours a near clear dark wooden brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a strong rye note with some toffee and dark grains. Flavor starts with rye and light bitterness then finishes with a light toffee note.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of jcnielsen. Thanks Jetson! Pours a hazy reddish brown appearance with a light brown head. Big rich, rye/caramel malty, thick sweet malty, spicy/herbal hoppy, a bit boozy aroma. Light bubble, chewy rich malty, somewhat boozy, dull, papery, herbal/woody hoppy flavor. Not my favorite and kind of strong but not horrible.

Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours darkly ruddy with a creamy/foamy tan head. Aroma is brown sugar with a touch of rye. Full bodied. Flavor is strong rye spice and strong hop. Seems earthy/spicy. Tho rye spice is in it. Flavors are strong. Not much, if any, heat. Nice drink.

Pour is a murky brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a nice mix of the spicy rye malt with some decent amount of hops. Flavor is about the same. Rye malt is the showcase here but a little lingering hop shows up after the swallow. A bit thin to call this a barely wine IMO but still quite tasty with all the rye used.
