A braggott, at Vine Street in Denver. Also very dry like the beer before. Very well carbonated, I can feel the bubbles on my tongue. Lightly sweet honey in the aftertaste but this is a very dry mead. Now that I see the description I attribute that at least in part to the lemongrass, which I did not pick up when I was drinking it.

Tap @ Vine Street. Pours a clear dark orange appearance with a small off white head. Herbal, dark fruity, rich honey, apple, lightly vinous, caramel aroma. Delicious caramel apple, tangy honey, wildflower floral, herbal flavor. Well balanced and delicious.

Tap at the brewpub - I quite liked this one - unlike most braggots, the mead adds a nice honey flavor, without adding too much sweetness - the floral, herbal, wheaty character of the beer remains quite distinct, and compliments the honey character quite well - alcohol is warming, but not overpowering - actually quite refreshing for its strength - a bit of apricot and lingering herbs - very good.

A hazy amber beer with a disappearing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with hints of honey, while the flavor is sweet with strong notes of honey leading to a dry finish.
