Millerzzzzz is a barrel aged, vanilla bean, maple syrup American double stout. We chose both small and large format rye whiskey and bourbon barrels with two small format maple soaked bourbon barrels for this blend. The barrels presented tones of vanilla, chocolate, spiced oak and rich maple and smooth booze which blended perfectly with the adjuncts. We split and carefully scraped the caviar from vanilla beans grown in five different regions. This blend got beans from Mexico, Uganda, Madagascar, Tahiti and Ecuador along with maple syrup from Miller’s maple farm in Cashton, Wisconsin. A rich delectable stout blended to drink within a year with your closest friends around a roaring fire.

Bottle at Epic Stout Tasting. Black with beige head. Bourbon, vanilla, chocolate. Sweetish but without being trademark maple. Smooth, round body. Luscious.

Draught @ MBCC, 2021. Pours black with a small creamy head. Roast, soy, licorice and bourbon. Woody and vinous. Amazing. Complex with long finish.

ABV: 14.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, maple, barrel, vanilla, barrel - bourbon - vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, barrel, vanilla, maple, chocolate, barrel - bourbon - vanilla. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20211023]
