Clear golden colour, white head. Malty aroma, straw, light biscuit. Sweet malty flavour. Finish malty, straw. Decent Helles.

A clear deep golden beer with a white head. Aroma of wet grainy malt, cereals and straw. Taste of straw, grainy malt, biscuit, moderate spicy bitterness.

Bottle. Clear gold sporting a decent white head. Aroma of grains and minerals. Taste of grains, straw, minerals and bread. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Simple but nice enough.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, orange golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and strawy, pale malty, minimally doughy yeasty and grassy hoppy aroma, a touch of flax, minimally soapy overtones. Taste is mildly bitter hoppy and minimally mineral, clean, pale malty basis with subtle residual sweetness, a minimally grassy touch as well. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Very clean, drinkable, nice mouthfeel - unspectacular.

0.33 l bottle from 'Trinkgut Knurra', best before February 2024. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty, moderately floral and a little grassy aroma of grains, some honey and light straw. Slightly sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a little floral taste of grains, straw, some vanilla and a touch of honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little watery finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Original review text: 0.33 l bottle from 'Vollkornbäckerei Niemand', best before June 2023. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty and a bit fruity-floral aroma of honey, grains and some lemon peel. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently malty and minimally fruity-floral taste of grains, honey, light straw and traces of lemon peel, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid Helles.

0,33 l swing top bottle from Rewe, Bad Pyrmont. Now labeled as 1863 Hell and without the Bio sticker. Clear dark golden in the glass with a fine foamy more than one finger white head. Looks really good. Low grainy aroma with caramel, little bit metallic. Taste is more on the caramel side, smooth grainy, some sweetness in the background. Low bitterness as expected. Mid carbonation. Okay.
