|
Aplari is only slightly kettle-soured ale heavy on both wheat and oat malts. Sweet orange peel, bitter orange peel and Amarillo hops were added in the boil. Some lactose is used to balance those bitter orange flavors. Aplari is also "dry-hopped" with sweet orange peel after fermentation

Bottled (from KSM Kampus, Pori). Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is slight zest, some sour elements with mild earthy and floral tones. Flavour is fruity, zesty, some sourness with mild earth. Nice tartish fruity aftertaste. Nice candy and spicy finish.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy golden, lively head. Aroma of Fanta Orange. Sweet with kigh tbody and clean mouthfeel. Orange lemonade with some bitter orange and saccharine. Low bitterness.

ABV: 5.3%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, tart, orange, candy, caramelized orange, caramelized candy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, burnt sugar notes, caramelized orange, tart orange, sugar sweet, blood orange - grapefruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220121]
