Tap @ Avery, doing the 10th Annual Boulder Strong Ale Festival. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, yeasty, sweet fruit, spice. TAste is malt, yeast, oak, rye, sweet fruit, light spicy. Medium body, soft carbonation. 090312

Boulder Strong Ale Fest. Templeton Rye barrel aged. I think this is the correct entry. Hazy dark reddish appearance wit ha cream colored head. Quite spicy, cinnamon, mild fruity, oaky aroma. Tangy, cinnamon spicy, light rye, orange/red fruity flavor with a touch tangy finish.

Sampled from the bottle at 2011 FOBAB. Poured a hazy deep sap color with a yellowish brown that dissipated ot the edges. Aroma had a bit of spice with a hint of deep fruits with some backing grains and some barrel. Flavor was mainly grains with a bit of spice and a note of backing dark fruit and barrel note.
